Beauty and the Beast Movie Review

Beauty and the Beast, a live action remake of the 1991 animated movie, was an amazing movie featuring Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (Beast), and many others.

Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman, is taken prisoner by a beast in its castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the beast's hideous exterior, allowing her to recognize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides on the inside. (IMDb description of movie)

Despite what some have said about the movie, the soundtrack, costumes, and acting really blew me away. Though it's quite clear that Emma Watson’s voice was very much autotuned, not everyone can sing and (in my opinion) Watson was the perfect person to play Belle. This movie was by far the best live action Disney remake (again in my opinion) followed closely by Maleficent. This movie is definitely a must see.
