Dream Factory

Dream Factory is a new club at school. Two Freshman girls, Emily Morin and Amber Arsenault, started this club hoping to get Massabesic more involved in helping children and families in need. I Interviewed one of the leaders, Emily Morin, and I asked her some questions about this club.
The first question I asked was what was this club about? She said, “Fundraising to raise money for children with chronic illnesses to make their dreams come true.”
I then asked why she wanted Massabesic involved? She stated, “Our school does not have enough clubs that benefit children in need.” She said that the benefit of the club was “to help families and their children pay for medical and other needs.”
The last question I asked was what she wanted students to learn from this? “That not everything is about them and helping someone can go a long way. It not only makes them feel good, it makes a family in need feel good. It also will teach them to help the community.”
This club seems like a good way to give back to the community and a way to make someone's day.

For further information, e-mail either Amber Arsenault or Emily Morin.
