On January 28th, Chorus had a field trip to UNH in Durham, New Hampshire, and sung in a large concert with different schools around the area. It was a great experience for all that attended. The concert started at 7:00 pm. and ended at 9:00 pm. Students were at UNH from 9:45 in the morning until 9:00 or a little later at night. It must have been a long, but fun day for the chorus group. The concert was free and open to the public. UNH prepared a great lunch and dinner for them. In the first half of the concert individual schools performed and the Massabesic Chamber singers performed. In the second half, all of the chorus’s came together and sang three pieces. The whole thing came together very well and everyone did a great job. We interviewed Mia Skowronski about the concert. We asked what she thought about the whole experience and if she would do it again. She said, “I thought the whole experience was fun. I had a great time with all of my friends and it was cool to get to know people who I wouldn't usually talk to in class since it was a whole day trip. I would definitely do it again without a doubt.”
So it sounds like this concert was a success!
