Advisory Snowman Decoration Competition

Written by Alexis Green, Alexis Steffens, and Lizzie Bates-Torrey

At the end of last month, student council members visited every advisory across the school and gave out a paper snowman and some rules to decorate. Each advisory had a couple of days to decorate their snowman and put it on their door. Later, it would be judged to see which advisory had the best design. Each class worked very hard on making their snowmen. These are a few pictures of some of the doors in the West building:

The winners of the Snowman Decorating Contest in the East were Mrs. Paradis and Mrs. Chamoff. The winners of the contest in the West were Mr. Trembly and Mrs. Hunter. Congratulations to all of the winners, and good work to everyone who participated in this school wide contest.

This contest was a creative bonding activity for students and teachers alike. It brought teachers and students closer together with use of teamwork and the question of how to design the door and bring the designs to life. The holidays are about being closer and this contest did just that.
